I stayed up late into the night to see the Azzurri get humiliated by Brazil, I oversleep and get to office a full hour late. Good morning ladies...

I'm in Iran right now, in Shiraz. Arrived two days ago and on the first night, me and my two cousins went out on a tour at night. Things were mostly as usual, quite calm. We parked our car and went on a walk and passed a square filled with militia men, police officers and military.

I was carrying my camera naively and one of them spotted it from afar. We noticed this early and I gave the camera to my female cousin, who put it in her back pocket (they'd be more reluctant to search her). A few seconds later we had maybe 8 of them around us, batons raised, asking for the camera. We said we didn't have any (there were other people around us when they saw it and we could tell they weren't certain we were the 'culprits'). They tied me and my male cousin's hands and they pushed and shoved us to a nearby alley while one of them brought my other cousin to our car, which they searched. We heard them say 'we've captured two units of opposition film makers' in their walkie.

We tried to speak to them but they'd keep threatening to take us away. Then their 'leader' comes, who was more sensible. He asked us what we were doing there, who were etc and we told them the truth, apart from the camera bit. It seemed he was about to let us go when the one searching the car came back with the camera bag, telling me we would be fucked if they found it and punched me in the stomach lamely. We reckoned we would be screwed either way so we stick to our story. I guess we must have seemed pretty harmless and innocent because after 10 minutes of intimidation they let us go, telling us God must have given us fortune this time.

They were probably just trying to scare us, but it shows what kind of trash they are. I feel for the people of Tehran who really have to deal with the worse and violent versions of these people. Anyway, that was my first night in Iran. Good experience.

That's so weird, that happened to me too in while ago. During the Supercoppa. Meh, I was going to play street football today but that got canceled. Blows because I was looking forward to playing since the season's been over.
street football rocks...i hate my city cuz we don't have smaller (than 100m) grass football fields. Don't worry, you'll play manana

Problem is I'm going all the way down town, and in my city the traffic is insane so it'll take a while to reach there. Anyways, I'm going to my friends house and kick his ass on FIFA. I'm out. Ciao, Blondu!

Seven, are you Carlo Garganese? He mentions something similar to your theory on Lippi in his article... Or has he just read it in here and reproduced it in his article?
