I prefer silver, black needs too much attention because everything leaves spots.

Are your technics components(give me the models) some vintage stuff or newly bought? Technics made probably the best components ever years ago(now competition is a little tighter). My aim is to buy a Technics turntable in the near future and get back to good ol' vinyl.

That's some pretty good stuff, I don't see the need to change it any time soon unless you get some serious cash influx or you're simply unsatisfied with the sound, which I doubt. Doesn't matter if it's 10 years old, this stuff made to last for a lifetime.
