Is the Global System characterised More by change or continuity?
I'm saying that although the vaious normative leanings of the system have indeed change and that the liberal capatalist victory in econonmic has been astonishing there world is still uni-multipolar as it was since society s we know it exsisted.

That's what I would do.
Explain that continuity is true for many of the "developed" nations, while those that are "3rd world" tend to drift further and further away toward changing the way they do things to try to keep up.
