Then why do I have to wake up, and not everyone else.

I bet Dru cares less than I do, and probably knows less.

Does he need to wake up?
Well, you just act like you're invincible, like nothing will ever affect you, Mikey. Sheer carelessness.

It just pisses me off you don't really seem to care about things that could affect you in the future, as if they're meaningless. Especially when the topic of discussion is essentially what you are going to school for.

I'm not telling you how to live or feel, but we all should wake up and prepare ourselves for an uncertain future. The actions of governmental bodies regulate our futures, to be precise.

i know that this crisis will effect me and my money, its only a matter of time that it hits hard
That's why I think you should take measures to hedge against what could possibly happen. I'm actually trying to stock up on can foods right now, just to be safe. It may sound crazy, but so did the Great Depression in 1925.

If it's not going to kill me, I'm not too worried about it.

And it's not what I'm going to school for, I'm going to school for a piece of paper, and i would still be a Marketing concentration rather than a Finance concentration if it were not for an extra accounting class.

So I chose this because it was easier, and I excel at it, not because I like it and always want to talk about it.

honestly, that sounds a bit outlandish.but i'm not disregarding what you say by no means
Everything sounded outlandish prior to the great depression, everything sounded outlandish when government executives warned about 9/11, everything sounded outlandish when people said no to the war on Iraq for various reasons, everyone sounded outlandish when they were predicting the start of a recession in 2008, et cetera.

    You're right, it's impossible.

Well, it could kill you. That's the thing. It seems as if it only matters when you're dead.

    But whatever man.

Impossible and outlandish are two different things.

    No, it really couldn't.

Yes, it could. If things get that bad where your house is robbed, you could be killed.

Stop being so goddamn arrogant, Burke. You are honestly really pissing me off right now.
