In north America, the bananas don't have seeds, they actually derive from their own peels.

In south and central America you'll find very seedy varieties of banana which derive from seeds.

So technically you could make the chicken or the egg argument as much as you want with some success. That is until someone came around to inform you that regardless of whether the banana is derived from seed or peel, a banana cannot form until it's tree has reached fruit bearing age or maturity. So in actuality, a banana cannot be without it's tree.
I've never heared about this befor now: tell me more about bananas being grown from their own peels, and of the seed veriety. Please.
