i have to say, once i switched i realized what the "hype" was about. before, i thought mac fans were obnoxious as hell, but they do have a point. the OS is a lot easier for the average person to use. there's no getting around it. they are more expensive, but the OS is much better, and the hardware is higher quality than most other manufacturers

Enron made a good point earlier. When some dumbass was telling people to, "dude, get a Dell" every other commercial period, nobody provided a stink.

Just goes to show some people are too stubborn to see out of their own butt cheeks.

    "Dude, get an enema."

Are you kidding me? That guy made me hate Dell. I can't even look at a dell anymore because of him.

Get any computer you like just don't think you're better than the other for it. PC has clearly a lot more benefits since most people prefer to develop things for Windows so I prefer a PC. The problem with Mac users is that they feel they're the shit.

No, Mac users think their computer is the shit, which it is. Which is why I purchased one.

Your rhetoric is countered with how Windows minions are so pinned down by Microsoft they're too stubborn to try anything different.

A lot of software is now compatible with Macs now anyway. The only downside I have seen in having a Mac is that a few trading platforms require Windows to run, but most can also operate on Mac OS.

The majority of scientists I know prefer Macs, and thus far I have to say I agree with them after doing some meteo stuff on it.
