Ok...My iPod nano is slowly but surely getting boring and I'm considering to buy an iPod touch. Can anyone recommend it?Or does it suck?

Moreover, what will I have to do/buy to be able to use the internet function?

If I was going to buy anything, I would buy an iPod Classic. It is exactly opposite of what the Touch offers. It is more music storage, but you can also put a bunch of games on it, as I did. The Touch has limited space and is like a PSP, the only thing it really offers is the internet, which you have to pay for I think. I had a close friend buy one, and he didn't like it and turned it back in after a week to get a new Classic, which he likes a lot more. But that was one of the original Touches, the newer ones might be much better.

    Thanks.

The main reason I'd buy an iPod touch is the Internet.Do I pay once for some tool and can surf as much as I want or do I have to pay for the minutes I spend on the Internet or something like that?

The classic isn't an option for me I think. It's pretty much the same as the Nano, apart from the storage.Right?

What you said about the Classic, yea, it is about the same you just have more storage. From what I know, the Touch is like a cell phone wherein you have to pay for the amount of information you plan to exchange with the cell towers. So if you use less than 50MB a month it may be one price, you can pay as you go, or it could be one flat standard rate for as much as you want it. But then again, it might just be WiFi, and you won't have any costs. In that instance, there would be no price to use the internet like a cell phone, you just would need to be near a wireless source. I'm not sure. What I would suggest doing is calling up Apple and just plain asking them.

I think the WiFi thing is integrated If I read and understood correctly.I've W-LAN at home so I'd be able to surf at home but not at a place without a wireless source? That sucks.I'll :google: for more infromation and will decide whether to buy it or not.
