i'm trying to put together a dashboard type home screen for our group which has an active display of some of our systems and their status' (green or red).

i'd send you the link for the mockup but its sourced in our intranet behind the fwall.

what i'm having trouble with is one of the frames for this AS2 client frame and "embedding" the code to format the appearance in HTML format. i'm not sure if that makes much sense but i have been using HTML to beautify the page but PERL is tha backbone

Are you sure you're talking Perl and not HTML?

My guess is that your Perl is probably fine, but your HTML/CSS/any Javascript is what might be giving you headaches.

i think so too, its calling these gay functions thats got me all in a tizzzzy. designing from the inside-out is much more complicated these days
