So true. BBC only exports crap that they think Americans want to watch, when in reality I'd be much more interested in everything they don't export instead.
I'd rather just have an around the clock BBC News channel than anything else. That's all I'd watch when something such as this Soviet nonsense is going on.

So you want to hear about what is going on in England instead?:p.
Nah, the BBC does a better job of providing us with coverage of wordly events than the junk here. Hell, the biggest story in America besides the Olympics the past couple days has been one of our politicians' sex scandals. Really, I don't give a fuck about that or even if he dies... don't care whatsoever. John Edwards is just another stupid politician, while what's going on in South Ossetia might mean more than people think right now, which is pretty much just another "one of those weird countries nobody has heard of fighting Russia."

Abit of news for you,

The captured Russia Plot is safe and well, and is receiving medical support from Georgian military, dunno how true it is.

No worries.

Although I wouldn't believe the report unless there is video of the pilot/co-pilot ALIVE and Moscow acknowledges, as there is no way to know the truth.

Case in point the film Behind Enemy Lines, one of my favorite. :p

Yes I find it very strange and I don't feel he is safe and well,Behind Enemy Lines was awesome btw.On the other hand it really looks like Russia are going to try and dominate Georgia now, which was my worse fear.

It's also a shame everyones eyes are on that Farse of the Olympics,to do any real actions.

Trying to figure out what the last part of this quote by Count Tolstoy means.

Alen?

“I would be very glad if you were of the same faith with me. Just try to understand what my life is. Any success in life- wealth, honour, glory- I don’t have these. My friends, even my family are turning away from me.

Some- liberals and aesthetes- consider me to be mad or weak- minded like Gogol; others- revolutionaries and radicals- consider me to be a mystic and a man who talks too much; the officials consider me to be a malicious revolutionary; the Orthodox consider me to be a devil.

I confess that it is hard for me… And therefore, please, regard me as a kind Mohammedan, and all will be fine”.

Well, very intelligent move by Moscow to go ahead with this stuff right now. Funny thing is it's almost like they planned to keep the media and Bush focused on Beijing, as our moron of a President had received various (friendly) invites by our athletes to attend some of the games. Bushy is better off over there than here. And even Putin is right there too probably laughing at this shit. :seven:
