Ofcourse parts of Manchester are terrible the outskirts being a prime example. However the Centre is much nicer than London and where I live in a Village around an hour from Manchester it's lovely.

Oh I disagree on the centre Manchester City centre is fantastic. Like I said the surrounding areas are like Ghetto's but that's more to do with the influx of foreigners over the years, Moss Side used to be very classy but now it's a shit hole( This is not me being racist either, it's a fact)
Salford is the same the White's that inhabit Salford have run the place down.
