My mother would think otherwise. I've been the hardest kid in the family. Always hurting myself and getting scars...she always feared that I wouldn't survive over the next weekend.

Night Klinsmann.
Perhaps. But the emotional pain of girls might be even worse.

I had been doing too little. And at postgraduate level I feel I should put more effort in...

How is it being a fireman? What do you guys do during the day when there's no fire?
better 2,3 hours a day than once or twice a week

well i'm currently working at smurd (Emergency Mobile Service for Resuscitation and Extrication) on an ambulance because one of my colleagues had problems with his knee. But as a fireman we have all sorts of activities like ladder/drill exercises, or study what to do in different situations or practicing human rescue ('till 4pm when we're free and we can watch tv, hit the gym, sleep or play football in our backyard). Now as a paramedic working on ambulance i don't do those stuff..we don't have the time...it's maximum 1,2 hours of quiet then there is an emergency.

Ah, ok. I had always wondered. I walk past our fire department every day on the way to and from work, and they are always having a barbecue and chatting. But then The Guardian showed me this:

And I thought of you.

Reading this out of context, one might take it the wrong way. :D

yes, those are the ladder & co. things i was telling you about, there is a competition in our country too..i'm not very good at them to be honest. I wanna catch the fireman football team though, but they don't like me cuz i'm too selfish with the ball :D

What is easier with boys?
From what I have seen with friends, I just get the feeling that raising boys is less stressful. Girls can be such bitches.

I could not imagine ever having to do those things, so if you are even remotely good I would be impressed :) Perhaps the football team is just intimidated by your skills :D

I don't think one can generalize in such a way, each baby is different and a boy can be as difficult as a girl or even more. I can give you one silly example, a boy can pee on you when changing diaper, a girl can't.

I have been warned about that! It is true, one cannot generalise, I would be happy if it were healthy :)
