The fan cooler could be a bit more expensive because mostly they are cotumly build for your cpu but with a good fan on top it should be cooling.

nope..my win7 is working fine because i don't have win installed on the ill hardrive..it's on another so there's no need to start in safe mode. i unistalled medal of honor, and started c&c generals (it's installed on the ill hardrive) and it's working just fine...maybe it was just that game, but i can't figure it out why the error.

and i have 3 hardrives ..i think i can afford to throw the stupid one at garbage

My laptop fan is dead (I assume) so I was using a normal fan directed at the laptop ( at the hole where the internal fan blows the air out)... it used to work, but now not.
So I was asking if buying this cooler base (which you put beneath the laptop) will be of any use. Because I tried to open the laptop and couldn't figure out where the fan is!!!

Yup, you can also place it on a bucket with ice cubes i used to do that with my old laptop, but the thing is bro, start saving money for a new laptop because this one wont last longer then 3months this way, i suggest you start looking for a laptop fan
