I bet. They've had far more natural snow than we have, obviously. I might make a trip out there next week.

Say, have you ever been to Linwood, WV? You know, around Snowshoe Mountain? I might be planning a trip down there for skiing. Is the area difficult to get to in Winter?
I know where it is. And yes, it can be difficult if the weather is bad. The roads are mainly 1 or 2 lane mountain/valley roads.

Hmm, that's what I thought. Plus Snowshoe lodge is located at the top of the mountain, much like Blue Knob in PA. But the Passat handled that rather well despite the near blizzard conditions.

How's the Canaan Valley area?

The same. My parents had to post-pone their ski trip last year due to weather. Once you get there it's not a big deal.

Canaan is closer and cheaper but Snowshoe offers a lot more. Tough decision.

I'm headed out to the bar.

I like Canaan better, because there's more to do and you can run cross country trails if you don't ski. Or go peep the animal preserve.

Snowshoe is really nice though, probably better skiing. Occasionally celebrities show up too.
