General rule of thumb is to make your client happy. You might not like giving them a cut price but the obvious long term business & word of mouth exposure would definitely work wonders for your company.

There are so many times where i'd like nothing more than to behead a client but ultimately, you have to bend over backwards to make that dough & keep it coming in.
Not when I get hounded about my price when I'm doing it below cost.

I was losing money on the deal.

It happens. As i said the potential word of mouth advertising & happy clients will lead to more clients coming in.

If you were losing a significant amount of money then you could justify your actions.

I just received an envelope. My name and my address written on it.
I open it and I see XXXXX from Co. Kerry, Ireland sending me 5 poems for my consideration, together with his biographical details.
    He calls me "Dear editor".

If there wasn't an Irish stamp at the back of the envelope, I'd have been sure that someone is fucking with me.
I'm not sure if I understand what is he saying in the poems, but it looks like he's writing about murdered women, in all 5 of them.

I checked the site he gave me and he really exists.

    WTF?
so THATS what Curr has been up to

    Significant?

I was doing it at half my initial quote to them.

I asked for 7K, then moved to 5K, and then moved to 3K.

    When, realistically, it's a 6K job.
Thats steep. But you don't know their connections.

No, they didn't want to host with us because they thought it was too expensive. They said 100 was too much so I said 75, they were pleased, then told me that was too much. So I told them to get out.
Do you know what other companies charge?

Don't get pissy, princess. I wanted to know how much other companies charged.
Between 24 and 35 a month for hosting with limited emails (3-10).

But hosting companies don't offer maintenance, we do, and we offer 50 email accounts free. If you were to contact GoDaddy for a website change, they would laugh in your face.
Looking at a possible Thanksgiving Day winter storm. If tracks South enough we should have some cold air in place.
    Good, snow away.

I guess it depends on how detailed you want to get.

Does "website change" mean completely changing the site or just like small regular changes/updates?
