Manchin is moderate democrat, with a pro-business reputation, his approval rating as governor is like 60%. It shouldn't be a contest but Obama has been a huge hinderance to the conservative and independent vote that he would have no problem getting in the Governor's race.

In addition, the Mountain Party is polling like 7% and the Constitution Party is polling like 2%.

We had a 4 party debate last night.
Why does the Constitution party get so little support? You'd think that they would get a lot in West Virginia.

I'd probably be part of the Tea Party if it wasn't hijacked by the Neo-Cunts and wouldn't have such a ferociously conservative stance on social issues. There are always a select few who ruin it for the rest. What I need is a party that adheres to Austrian economics, promotes personal freedoms, doesn't hate on homosexuals or foreigners, doesn't bring religion into politics, and promotes bringing the troops home. Unfortunately, a party such as this would be difficult to bring mainstream.

I could never mess with the Tea Party. I think things like public education, the right to fuck who you wanna fuck, stick a coat hanger in your puss, and healthcare reform are important even though I agree with some of the parties ideas on economics and gun control.

Also I can't stand regressive movements. Unfortunately we really don't have a political party that is ultimately progressive.
