You live along the coast in the North? I suppose it gets a bit worse as you move south towards Medellin and Bogota?
Yeah, pretty much as north as it can get (beach is like half hour from here). Some portions of Medellin are a shitfest, with gangs, drugs and whatnot. Bogota is not as insecure as Medellin though.

Yeah, and strangely enough I haven't seen any crime in Detroit apart from disobeying traffic laws to an excessive extent.

Most of the time when I'm downtown I just get hassled by poor folk asking me for money. Last weekend I was there I caved and gave a guy some after he answered a hip hop question correctly.

But the downtown part of Detroit is otherwise pleasant, especially along the Detroit River and in Greektown. I very much like it there.
I agree there when it comes to down town, but once you start going west Detroit, it's just pure ghetto, and abandoned homes where usually alot of shit goes down in these things. There still need alot of work to be done in the area. I love what they did D-town, area specially river side, and I hate it when people here in Canada or in the USA talk shit about Detroit. The city is so underrated

It is very underrated when it comes to downtown and suburbia.

I saw for my own eyes the land in the city some investors want to start farming.

Yeah, I lived in the suburbs, Inxter city specifically for 3 years, right next Dearborn Hieghts, and it was so safe. The amount of shit is being thrown at Detroit, and Michigan is just unfair. I wouldn't mind go back and live in Michigan. Alot of good places to go to and have fun, people are nice and friendly, and good food

Definitely. Some of the suburbs are my ideal places to live, especially Troy.
