The instrument written is hard. I studied my ass off for it. I haven't taken the commercial written yet but they say it's just an extension of the Private with a bit of Instrument crap added to it.
Damn, I hate studying. Thanks. Sometimes I look at some of the people that pass and think that shit must be easy... But I guess it's just that they work hard.

You guys take the FAA tests right? I got a better score than my instructor just to put it into perspective. But 70% is passing, so don't be discouraged. Best way to study for it is to get on the Gleim software. How are into your private are you btw?

Yeah, FAA. I just have to finish off my hours and do my tests. Finances is the real issue now.

Gleim software are like past exams? You ever used PC flight sims? Are they useful?

Where are you now?

Finances are a bitch. I've taken loans to finish up Commercial & Multi Engine. Luckily I'm only ca 65 hours away from that.

Flight Sim to fly? I never really got into that. But we have simulators at my flight school and at my Uni which are FAA approved. I 'fly' in it and can log up to 50 hrs of flight. The one at my Uni is basically free (part of the tuition).

If you want to do anything with a pysch degree, you have to get a doctorate or it's just an expensive piece of paper.
So? I can do an extra two years of work.

I'm literally done with my Instrument training but my check ride has been reschedule twice and so now I have to refresh things for my oral exam and then go back. Hopefully I'll do that this weekend and schedule for a check ride by the end of next week.

Forget the instrument theory...the flying part is harder almost. So much crap because it's all imaginary you know.
