Is Aberdeen a "mid-table" club in the SPL?
We're arguably the biggest club outwith Rangers and Celtic, but out team isn't great at the moment, so we will probably be mid table this year.

We haven't finished higher than third in about twenty years and we've never been relegated in our 107 year history.

Have a nice night, guys

Red good luck tomorrow :)
Ta.

We shouldn't need it, though. :p

Do you think anyone other than Ranger or Celtic can win the SPL in the not too distant future? its something i have always wanted to witness.
No, to put it simply.

Aberdeen's title in 1985 remains the last time a non-Old Firm team won it, and Aberdeen in 1991 was the last time it was close to happening.

Get Alex Ferguson when he leaves Man Utd for a last run with Aberdeen. :D
When Ferguson initially made noises about retiring/leaving Man Utd about ten years ago, the Aberdeen Board made him an open offer that he could come to Aberdeen in any role he wanted, from ball boy to chairman.

I doubt he would have returned, but the Board did the right thing by making the approach.
