If Scotland was my country, there would be absolutely no reason to go anywhere else.

I meant the Gulf countries. I want to keep Dubai as the last option if I switch back to the Gulf. A few years back I told most of my family and friends that I'd never go back to that place. I don't want to be embarrassed if I can help it :D

Kuwait have higher income levels than the UAE, maybe you can try there. Qatar and Bahrain have good income levels too. Do not even think of Saudi Arabia, you'd hate it there, and imo no salary in the world should convince anyone to go there.

Ah ok, it was the first thing that crossed my mind.

If you had to move now, which country would you choose?
Hmmm, tough one.
Probably Italy. Been there a lot, have friends, very similar mentality and similar coast. Plus it's close to home. It must have a sea near to where I'll live.

You?

Eh, dunno really. I can't really give my opinion as I've only been in Italy and Greece.
I didn't really like Italy thaaaat much. No, I think the place was great but I didn't really like people a lot. It could easily be because I was drunk a lot. But as a country it's beautiful. I hated Venezia and loved Firenze (besides people).

Greece is not that good but people are better IMO.

Wow, that's very high. Here we're on less than 950 $ a month on average. But you have lots of rich ones who make the average price higher than it should be.
Ya but its pretty much the same here, we've got lots of rich people that make the average higher than it should be too.

All in all, its one of the highest countries in the world in terms of income levels though, they give a lot of high salaries, so if you make it here you really make it.

The guys that are lucky here, are the locals(who are less than 20% of the population). They get government jobs(8:00-2:30) as soon as they graduate and start out with 3,000-4,000 Euro's as minimum. Most of my Emirati friends make on average 8,000-9,000 Euro's. If you're a local here, you have it pretty easy.

They're guaranteed government jobs?

I met a Serb in S.Africa, he hated how things were in his country, he's been living in S.Africa for 14 years now, and he doesn't plan on going back to Serbia soon.

He keeps on harping about the great days of Tito, and he liked me because i was Libyan and he thought Geddaffi resembled Tito :D

If he lives there for 14 years, that means that he left in 1996.

Trust me, Serbia in 1996 was the last place you want to live in. Now it's incomparably better.

He goes from summer to summer, he tells me the salaries are too low, and if you want to open a business you should be ready to bribe and be corrupt.
