I'm good. My article basically sums up the problems with consumer driven economics in an age where subsistence would be a more reliable long term goal. I also discuss the problems with the western notion that the developing world should aim for a sustainable, less consumptive future while the west continues to live like it always has. After all western nations are the example for industrial and post industrial success, though our examples aren't the kindest to the environment or poor people. Then I go on to discuss GDP as an incomplete measurement of human well being. Though I am a fan of GDP as a measure of affluence. Typical environmental article. I'll probably throw in something a little edge to give the hippies a rise.
DUDE, the Kaiser Chiefs are on LENO! :lol2:

Yo Ahmed, I feel like I've asked you this already but what ever. Have you ever eaten at Lebanese Flower or Automatic? If so, how do you rate them? And how hard is it to find Lucky Strikes over there?

We aren't the role model of complete success, that's for sure. We have become an anti-saving economy whose real currency is pure debt, all thanks to Mr. Greenspan who lowered rates to absurd levels and the radical banking community demanding low rates so they could sell debt to even Joe the Plumber. It's all cyclical. Consumers have been taught not to save, raise their debt, and now the debt of the banks is being placed on them in this doomsday cycle. But I guess it's a new era.

A penny borrowed is a penny speculated. Shoutout to Max Keiser.

So are we talking Trek/Huffy or Kawasaki/Ducati? What kind of bike? And what did this jerkass cabbie do?
The one with an engine :) I got a Yamaha...
the cabbie was driving fast on the wrong lane on a pretty narrow road... i had to move out of the way to avoid a full on collision... i managed to miss him but couldn't control the bike to stay on its wheels...

Automatic is awesome, don't think I've had Lebanese Flower...no worries with the smokes, but all brands have less tar and nicotine over here, you're better off bringing them with you

Are you going to sue him or arrest him or something, or are you just going to put an Ice Pick through the back of his knee?

I read on lonelyplanet that Automatic and Lebanese Flower are the best and the most affordable places to eat so I guess I'll hit up both. Is there anything special I should have though? I'm just going to have falafel meal and a shawrma meal.

No big deal about the cigs. I'll just buy it when I get there since I only smoke those cigs for the enjoyment.

bro Automatic is like a normal restaurant, nothing too high class and over budget...forget falafels and shawarmas, try stuff like Shish Tawook, Mixed Grill or Arais...falafel and shawarma are like the daal chawal of lebanese cuisine
