Its not your countries fault, you can blame the US, Israel, the PLO, Iran, Syria and Iraq for it. (im talking 75-89ish not the earlier ones)
Yes, I mean the 75-89 one
We can blame others as much as we can, but alot of the blame should fall on my people for behaving in such disgusting way and fighting each other. Many countries were also behind the disaster as you mentioned, but the Lebanese who fought and held a weapon should have been smarter not to follow like sheep

My understanding was that it was a war betweent he christian factions and the islamic factions who supported or didnt support the harbouring of PLO fighters, is that right?
From my understanding. It started when the PLO were disliked by many because they had Lebanon as a base for war against Isreal. Started when PLO tried to assassinate some big christian leaders because the PLO were just not welcome for some of their actions, and when christians tried to answer back in the infamous incident (el bosta) the bus that was filled with palestinians. The christian militia stoped it and shot everybody on it. After the bus incident little fights started happening, slowly things got worth. Then the muslim lebanese came in. The lebanese chrisitans asked for the syrian to come in but later on they didn;t want them. The muslim fought agianst the christians. After that muslim fought muslim, christian fought christians, muslim and christian against muslim and christians, .....and etc. There were too many militia political party, and they changed their alliance like you change sockes. Everybody fought agianst everybody. France and American got in too. It's was just a big disgraceful mess

Aren't we still witnessing it? But this time without weapons.
Actually they used/still using weapons in their scattered clashes but I think it's getting better that what it was like 2-3 years ago. 7areeri certainly made a difference despite being doubted by many (including me).
laughing?..that driver was smoked
I won't rule that out :D
