They do tend to be between the 5 foot to 5 foot 6 region. Don't think I've seen someone out there 5 foot 9 or above.

Skiing is exciting but where would I practice it?

A couple of years ago a friend's brother passed away after he collided with a tree while he was skiing. And he wasn't an amateur. After that it makes me nervous to watch people ski

That isn't a nice story. I love skiing through glades (natural terrain with trees).

But you don't have to do glades. Sticking on the regular trails would be just fine.
