I didn't want to come to Canada after finishing my english courses in the USA. I was accepted to study chemcial engineering back in 2003 from oakland university in Auburn hills, but my student visa wasn't renewed due to the whole fiasco back then and also me being Lebanese/arab, Canada is a nice and peaceful country but I would have definitely loved to stay in the USA. I have more relatives there and more things to do than here. I also loved the location of the university in Michigan.
Good times man. Good times.

I think you are overestimating your collective selves with regard to the standards that I experience here and consequently hold.
No, I made no claims about your life or experiences because I have never been to Ireland and I do not know anything about the youth culture there. I think you are underestimating a youth culture that must function differently than your own due to different circumstances caused by the older generations, we grow up differently than the Irish but we are not held back by it.

I don't know why you're making a mope out of me agreeing with you, fuck sake.
I'm not trying to, I'm just bored

My entire point was that our culture due to laws/social factors begins to take that 'final step' earlier and finnishes sooner as a result.

I'm also bored, that's why I'm playing FM

yes I know

My entire point was that taking that 'final step' early is more difficult here but that only holds some back, not all of us. I think the main difference is when we finish, it seems to me that both cultures start at around 15 with the Irish ending at 18/19 and the Americans ending at 23/24.

I'm not denying that you seem much more mature than myself, Americans take a long time to finish maturing but I think we both start at about the same time.

Sounds fun, I don't have FM so I may as well play some Modern warfare 2
