New York accent, I totally think Rozie Perez, and thats not exactly pleasant. The accent is distinct and colorful (New Jersey seems even worse), but not exactly nice connotations to the sound of it. Similar bostons orish-esque heavy accents. Seems bit nagging accent to hear.

New York? Dude, that is a horrible accent from the States. New Yorkers are annoying as fuck.

Same with Jersey. Horrible accents.

We do have different accents based on location. Folks around South Carolina, Alabama and Georgia have a Southern accent, a nice little twang to their speech. New England accents can be quite strong at times, which are somewhat similar to New York accents. States like Illinois, Michigan and Wisconsin have somewhat "nasally" sounding speech, but with a soft tone of a female voice it is pleasant in my view.

And then you just have the hick accent. Umm, yeah, that's not cool.
Ouch, I probably did not meet a true New Yorker then, I did find it an attractive accent while over there. Strange one. I have to admit the Texan or Tennesse are the best accents :p

They are at times pleasant, as long as they don't mix hick into what they say. Nonsense hick slang is rubbish.

Dude how come whenever I make references to either historical figures like Zaitsev or footballing disasters like Kaladze's own goals, no other Wings fans know what I'm saying?

Of course, me being a loser is not an answer. I already know that.
