OK, but my point was that Americans didn't invent the English language, they "inherited" it from the British colonizers, just like we did with Spanish from Spaniards

So who are you angry at? The British? Most Americans aren't of British decent either. One side of my family came through Ellis Island from Italy, the other side from Switzerland, I have no British ancestry like a large % of Americans who are descendants of immigrants who came here in the late 1800s and early 1900s

They shouldn't be forced to learn English, but having everything translated into Spanish to accommodate people who aren't even here legally is bullshit. English is the official language of America in every way but the law and that should be changed. Integrating Spanish into public institutions needs to stop

It is especially bad here in California because the whole state is so goddamn liberal that everybody insists on supporting illegals. They live openly here even standing in huge groups along the sides of the road outside any home improvement store looking for work. They are bold enough to keep together in large communities instead of trying to hide their status because they know they have it so easy, the government needs to round them all up and send anybody without a green card home. And enough of this BS about their babies becoming automatic citizens
