Not really, I would rather just stay away from meth and E pills, and work in a pharmaceutical company and making good drugs
understandable

but you do know that 70% of the products you will work on will never hit the shelves of a pharmacy store or ever be actually prescribed to a patient by a doctor?

unless you are planning on working on active products, not R&D types then its a great industry you're getting into

I'm in my 3rd year of PhD in organometallic chemistry. Oklahoma, Oh no thanks.
Organometallic? Do you try to get iron ore out of grass, or turn oak trees into titanium?
    understandable

R&D will be more interesting, since you are trying to discover something new, or improve something in the drug, but if I go to the quality control I think it's going to be be very boring since you are only checking the quality of the drugs and not being creative at all. I may end up being being lazy and stay away from industry and go to academics and in teach in a college or university.
Regarding the swine flue, i think it's all propaganda, since there are many people dying from the regular flu, also we have the treatment but some how the media like to blow thing out of proportions

No, it's the chemistry of transition metals and organic compounds (carbon based)
I synthesize special organic compounds and then coordinate it to transition metals ( in my case palladium and platinum) and then trying to study the complex with several reactions and techniques hopfully i'll be able to develop a new catalyst.

    whats next? an HPV plague?
Those pharmacuetical companies control everything, they work only on drugs that will make them profits. They control the governments, they are the real mafia. If they make a drug that won't make them profit then they won't put it on shelves, and they just don't give a s#!& about people. They will only put a drug in the research and development if it will only increase their bank accounts. I read a shocking story a while ago me friend showed to me, they didn't allow the drug to hit the market because it won't make them any money. I will try to find the story if i can.

Man, my life is so repetitive right now. Wake up early, check out any new open positions, write a cover letter and apply for them, trade some currencies and stocks, go for a run working off my anger, then make some dinner. And I don't get paid unless I make a profit in my trades.

Fuck you government for repealing the Glass-Stiegall Act, fuck you Greenspan for lowering interest rates after 9/11 and avoiding a natural major recession back then, fuck you investment banks for passing around exploding bonds that are worth nothing, hurting all of the middle class in your wake.

Listen to the radio for 6 hours
    Watch TV
    Play Video Games
    Get Drunk
