Alen, answer this question for me..

In a circle 1000 man are standing with sequence number from 1 to 1000. The man with the sequence number one has a sword, he cuts the head of sequence number 2 person and give sword to the third person, the third person subsequently cuts the head of 4th person and this process kept on going till only one person is alive... Can you tell me which sequence number person will be alive in the end?
