I thought you guys went out pretty respectably against Chelsea. Against Lazio... not so much.
Or home match against Chelsea was perhaps our best all season, minus the Milan drubbing, of course.

I don't mind the Flames. Think the Caps will go out or do you think we'll see 7?
They had a chance to make an amazing comeback tonight with the laughable Avery sitting in the box all game, but they couldn't get the puck past Lundqvuist. He's hot right now and doubt he'll stop this series, so no I'm afraid the Caps are cooked.

Well we beat superior competition, but we choked against teams we should have beat.
That's AC Milan play as opposed to Inter. Maybe not much of a consolation, but an improvement.

But this was sort of predictable with the way things have been going since the Chelsea exit.
I don't think so. The Chelsea exit was still sort of a high note despite the red card. I would say the team played to its abilities against Chelsea for the most part.

I cannot say the same since Roma, however.

I think it will go six games at least. Boy do I hate Avery. Talk about a fag.

I didn't mean for those to think that the Chelsea match was anything but respectable. But if one were to form a trend analysis of our matches since the Chelsea ties, it would look like the September/October DJI all over again..

It seems Juve, like other top clubs in Serie A, hits a "crisis" patch once or twice every season. You can see it with injuries, etc. But this club was mostly healthy, and it responded quite poorly as compared to the Real Madrid performance that got us out of the last one.

Indeed. And that's primarily Ranieri's fault no matter what anybody says. He's lost the plot.

Apparently the Caps don't take handouts. Doesn't bother me. I'd like it much better if we got the Rangers next round.
The Rangers are like the Inter Milan of the NHL. They always have a great roster, always spend a lot of money, but they always choke at the end and their fans are annoying as fuck.
