Wokeism is more about self hate than woke people realise. Sad that so many people with mental problems will fall for this, you really see the vacuum effect.

I also find it crazy that apparently is all about acceptance, until you have an opposite opinion.
"wokeism" :lol:

Brother, these are made up bogeymen that are necessary for right wing newspapers to sell issues and get clicks. I've not seen anybody describe themselves as 'woke' in an unironic way for at least ten years. That it's become a popular word in common parlance is entirely from reactionary talking heads who need something to react to.

It doesn't exist in real life

Is tuz woke or broke?
I'm both. Or neither.

I thought the same until I moved to England and started hanging out with 20 something year old women in London.

They may not call themselves woke but they perfectly fit the description.

Weren't you a lawyer yourself?

The Court never addressed whether or not it was appropriate. It said there was no proof of harm in the individual case and added: "It is clear that what (the girl’s) parents are seeking was not a clarification or correction for their daughter, but systemic changes to the school board’s policy and to an educational system that in their opinion should not allow such concepts as ‘gender fluidity’ to be addressed in the classroom.” .

People act as if the Court approved of the material, but this is not the case at all.
I only copied the title of the article so that people would know what it's about.

My only input was "why the fuck are first graders learning this shit?". That conversation should be reserved for teenagers.

Yes and the title was intentionally misleading. The teacher wasn't 'cleared', there was no appreciation on whether or not it was okay to teach the subject matter at hand. The court decided the plaintiff didn't prove damages.

You know what? It isn't even misleading. It's just lying.

Semantics.

Legally speaking you can be found liable or not liable, guilty or not guilty. The word "cleared" doesn't mean anything in actual legal terms.

This is what I'm saying though - whose description? It's right wing media which in the absence of any actual meaningfully progressive politics needs a strawman.

Lol, it's not semantics.

There are underlying reasons to be found liable or not liable.

The headline implies that the court looked at the class material and decided children can in fact be taught this stuff.

This is not what happened.

The court first examined whether the child had suffered any damages. It did not. The court therefore decided there could be no liability.

This is not a small difference.

It's stuff like this that is used by right wing politicians to make you believe we will wake up in a crazy woke world tomorrow, whatever that may be.

Yes, I don't disagree with you one bit on that. It's clear that the article is biased as fuck.

We all know that media outlets push certain narratives, some more subtly than others. However, my point was it's ridiculous that kids that young are being taught all this gender nonsense. That's clearly a teacher with an agenda. The media being the media can't be your takeaway from that article.

You also have teachers saying the white race is superior.
