Just found out that tomorrow is a company holiday, God bless America.

Btw, this story keeps getting weirder. The guy lives in Miami as a crypto bro there now, visits San Francisco for one day and then gets stabbed at 2:30am in Rincon of all places (who dafuq Airbnbs in Rincon??), and the witness reports say he was bleeding on the street carrying his iPhone (so theft is a very unlikely motive).

Not that I love conspiracy theories, but that rules everything likely out besides a psychotic rando drug addict on a rampage (always a chance of that in SF) or a targeted hit by some crypto enemies from the Russian underworld.

I'm smelling the latter. The extra sus part are the tech bros who are giving him a saintly aura in their eulogies ... I suspect he clearly found a way on someone's sh*t list and lives a bit more of a double life than people give him credit for.
These are also generally the type of people that think too highly of themselves, like they're untouchable and immortal with all their money.

Wot?

Since when has America taken Good Friday off?

Yes, we have it off in Portugal. They have it off in the UK. They even have it off in India, for crying out loud. (At least so the Hindu nationalists can burn your Christian church down while you're out on holiday. :snoop:)

But the USA? It's downright UnAmerican to be getting a day off for Jesus when you aren't selling crap.

Good Friday is the celebration of the day Jesus Navas was slaughtered by Benfica supporters and brought back with curry powder transported by Brits from India. So, it makes sense they get it off in Portugal, India, and the UK.

I'd much prefer having the Monday off instead but I'll take it.
