Sucked donkey nuts. Nonsensical fast action where you can't really see who is hitting who gives you a headache then next slows down to dragged out dialogue. Too much up it's own ass but I'd say watch it for it's absurdity.
So I started searching some (fountain) pens since I noticed that I write quite often now whether that's book notes or ideas and lines for some of my work. I think it will be my future investment at some point. Like everything else, the more depth you give to search it turns out there's a whole world behind it. Those that I like seem to be quite expensive too. Apparently when it comes to entry level it seems that Pilot metropolitan fountain pen is one of the better choices. Those that I like better are like 2-10 times more expensive. Do we have any expert here?

Parker fountain pens would be a good start. The price range can vary though. Some can be over $150 but there are some you can find for $20-30 as well. I barely do any handwriting myself since it's all typing on computers and phones, but I've been wanting to get some of these fountain pens purely for the nostalgic value. There is something very neat about the whole inkpot and fountain pen way of writing. King of like driving a stick. Not as convenient for some, but has it's own charm.

Its special. I take notes when I read and never use phone and such, but write it myself. Oh and yeah, sure, but thats way out of my reach. Those are not entry level. I was more looking stuff like Pilot Metropoliten which is probably the best one for around 30e. Best value for money. I found very good ones but that's around 100e price range while 500-600e are premium ones that I liked.
My wife is big into fountain pens. She knows the depths you can plunge, as you noted. She prefers functional ones with easy-to-find refills and ones she wouldn’t be horrified at losing.
Apparently fountain pens are supposed to hone your writing skills, hence why so many schools use them. Back then it was definitely a pain. I remember we weren't allowed to use any other form of pen until at least grade 11.
We used to get fairly nice but cheap pens from drug reps. Hardly get anything nowadays because the government thinks that a 10 cent pen can bribe doctors.
