So one more reason US is better.
Not really. Air conditioning is great if you live in those parts of the US where you get very hot weather very regularly. I'm thinking of Las Vegas, parts of California and Texas for example. But it's truly everywhere. I guess if you're as fat as you guys you tend to overheat though, so I see where you're coming from. Because we are much healthier as Europeans and are still able to regulate our own body temperatures instead of drowning in the warm blubber that is our own fat we tend to find all that energy consuming air conditioning unnecessary.

It’s 34C in Philly today, AC is definitely necessary

It has been around 36 in Belgium for a week. And it has been around 30 for almost two months. Today is the first day that it's finally cooler. We've had an incredible heatwave. Regardless, you just don't see that in Europe as much as you do in the States.

How bearable is that? I’m too used to AC now to be okay with it but when I was a kid in Albania I didn’t mind so much.

Heat is not an issue for me. Heat AND high humidity is a killer though.
:agree: pretty much the northeast

I think in most of Southern Europe a temperature of around 35°C would still be very bearable. Southern Italy and Spain are very dry and you don't really feel the heat. In Belgium this is awful weather though. As D-devil points out, it's the humidity that makes it so much worse. Normally we don't get temperatures over 30 in Belgium, but the last two summers we did and people suffered.

Can't see much AC coming though, unless the next two / three summers are the same.

The difference I noticed, having lived both in Asia and Europe, is that if its sunny and hot, in Asia the inclination is to go indoors, whereas in Europe the inclination is to go outdoors.

Hence even though 30C+ is not that hot comparatively...the complaining is more in Europe

I'm dying over these past two and a half weeks. Summer is the worst season, not even debatable.
Disagreed, I love summer. You can go swimming, to the beach, there’s so much more going on and everyone’s in a better mood. Winter can suck my balls and in the spring it rains too much. Fall is alright but not as fun as summer.

Spring and Autumn

Summer is nice, but if it is as hot as it is right now there isn't much you can do imo. It's simply too hot for me to enjoy running or whatever sport you are into.

That's just not true at all. Like, it's literally the opposite of what Italians and Spanish do. Where do you think they have their siestas?

When it's humid like this I want to do literally nothing. The beach works though, I'll give you that. But to bike or play basketball or something in this is murder. Can do both of those in the winter with no problem, assuming there's no snow on the ground :p

These silly Anglo Saxons can't enjoy summer.
My roots are primarily Sicilian and Neapolitan

The Democrats are running in the Midwest by electing people with Arab names and are losing. that’s retarded, what else did they expect?
