On the real, watching the MLS after a WC Final is like driving a Ferrari for 10 years then getting a DUI and having to drive a unicycle to work with welding goggles on.
Cited for truth.

When did you move to Lisbon, G?
About 2.5 months ago, so pretty recent.

Yeah 400 euros shouldnt be hard to save up to if you have a decent salary. Counting expenses, living tightly, take couple of months? Depending on whats the typical salary over there.

What's 400 Euros compared to the average wage in Serbia for instance?
They are asking me to cover all of the expenses to publish 300 books. And they are asking for 800-1100 euros. And... they want 50% of the sales. Yes, if you're wondering, that's really insane.

As for your question, on my previous job, I was getting 350e per month. I'd say that's average here, or even above average.

That wage is not enough to cover all of the expenses for an individual to live for a month here because our prices of food are similar to majority of Europe where they have 10x higher wages (Austria etc.). A friend of mine was earning 300 and after a year he managed to save like 50e. He has his own flat, though, but he literally ate his parents basically every day.

I know in albania, you can make like 200 euros a month at a typical low level entry job so that can be hard to save up.

Yeah those are extortoniate level prices for publishing, but if you dont have a better option, what else can you do but save up?

But saving up sounds tasking. Because thats crazy low average salaries (if you have high expenses as you said, cant be for real can it?), its like they are punishing their citizens, who can save up with such shite?

I have 2600 euros a month and I been acting like a spoilt brat past months to get my boss to raise it lol (reminding him I declined 3000 a month last year for promise of a raise, when I really didnt take it just because I hate the idea of moving elsewhere for just a job).

I recommend you go to Norway if possible to work for a little while, those mofos earn GOOD bank in even most minor of jobs.

The best part about living in Norway must be that all other places in the world are dirt cheap.
