If I have the opportunity to take a job that pays 30% more than what I make now but has absolutely nothing to do with what I got my degrees in, do you think I should take it? Not sure of the long-term opportunities with it.

I agree with Swag. I mean, if there isn't opportunity for professional growth or something long term, maybe wait for something better.
