Pricey it is! But it was cool. A lot more casual and hip than their sister Acquerello, which is something of an Italian food institution here in SF. (Still worth a NYE check-out to impress the Mrs., btw, though it will be a bit more upscale and austere than the other NYE options I mentioned.)

Interesting that the food was almost nothing like Acquerello. I'm not sure a roast chicken for $48 counts as small plate tapas. But otherwise I was impressed with how much flavor, and the variety of flavor, packed into each dish. All in all, well worth the trip. Though as you said, it ain't cheap. Thanks for the reco. :tup:
