Fucking dumb to dress myself for work when I'm hangover and stressed for time, less awkward blunders that way, my work place is in an airport where every soul working there needs a security badge. Talking to a colleague and my boss when suddenly both burst into fit of laughter, and points at my badge. I clocked in, working for 3 hours and gone through 3 security checks with my brothers identity badge...

On my way home to pick up my own badge, and take a quick lunch.

I do need to go there, even as much as some of the Lithuanians here discourage me from going "to that dump". I may be 4th generation Chicago, but a mix of those generations spoke Lithuanian, etc. (Hell, my younger brother was married in a Lithuanian church dedicated to our Our Lady of Šiluva and had his reception at a Chicago Lithuanian restaurant.)
Well it's far from "dump" here. It's different, but I have seen much worse places in any country in Europe not to mention outside of it. When you decide, let me know :p

So this tv show Gomorra is worth watching? @swag @Dule90
Yes. The English subs out there are wonky at best, but it's a compelling watch.

I'd be further along in the show right now myself if not for the fact that it scared the crap out of my wife for a while (she had nightmares about people hiding in the back seat of her car, etc.) and I'm easing her back into watching it again. :D

I'm not sure I'll be able to sleep. Tomorrow is the day that Scotland votes on independence. It has been absolutely extraordinary. 97% of eligible voters (something like 5'000'000 people) are registered, and millions of those will be voting for the first time. Facebook has been full of real debate on real issues rather than the usual bullshit and it has been amazing to see people become so interested in their own future. Over the past two weeks polls (not that I trust these polls at the best of times) have shown it's virtually 50/50.

So excited. What a time to be alive!

This was a (I think) grassroots based gathering which took place in Glasgow city centre in support of a Yes vote for independence. It was literally packed all day and there are probably still some people there now (just after midnight). I was there briefly from about 4 till 4.30 and it was full of people on a fucking Wednesday afternoon! Incredible!

Won't have issues sleeping tonight, but I am contemplating when I might get a few hours kip tomorrow night as I don't really want to pull an all-nighter.

Tempted to try and grab a few hours from about 11pm-2am.

@Red a question about Aberdeen - Glasgow looks like a Yes whitewash. Not just the turnout today and at the weekend, but people about with stickers and badges, with 'twibbons' on their facebook picture and posters/signs in car and flat windows everywhere you look there are Yes signs outnumbering No by 5 to 1.

How does it look in Aberdeen?

Aberdeen will be close and my guess is that it'll probably closely mirror whatever the overall result is.

That's not based on a great deal - just a gut feeling.

I take it as a scot you hate this movie (the world thinking its an authentic telling of scottish history lol)
I don't hate the film.

I don't even hate that people think that it's true.

It's very useful when you are listening to someone who clearly thinks it's true as it means you can instantly stop listening to them on the grounds of them being an utter cretin.
