There's an option when editing a post, or a + sign next to a short editing box, to give you access to controls for either taking a photo or uploading one from your photo album (if you grant it access).

Me? Right now I am having a hilarious time wrestling with hacks to my LG Smart TV. It's scary how much these things are computers now. I'm downloading and configuring apps from github that can be setup on a USB drive to extend and override the Plex application controls on the TV. Man, TVs have gotten so complicated now...

I can't even get it to load on safe mode. I want to partition the HD but windows 8 you need to be logged on. Fml

My LG Smart TV comes with basic PLEX integration, which I heavily use for streaming movies off of networked hard drives and whatnot. But to use things like the PLEX apps, or channels, I need something like LG's Smart Link to work. (Different TV networks and online services have their own PLEX apps, for example -- like streaming off of ESPN3 integrated in PLEX.) For the most part, Smart Link doesn't work for that (if at all sometimes).

Meanwhile, there are independent developers like this guy in Australia who does proper open source builds of more robust PLEX client apps you can run on your TV -- if you set them up on a USB drive you plug in your TV and have it run as an auxiliary LG smart TV app.
