Its hard for me to explain in English.

Actually, many types of contracts have their roots in the Roman Law. The loan/rent contract, the "buy" contract.... all those things were taken from the Roman law.

I completely agree with you.

Now that corruption is more than ever, Romanians are already facing serious problems. It's a corrupted system and unfortunately the Romanian people are paying the price.
the old folks with so few money...hospitals ready to collapse...18th century roads...pollution...a lot of criminality..the list goes on..

i don't want to sound like that fellow with his georgian dance and how good and bad georgia is..there are problems in every country..we ain't the first/the last with these problems.

In Scotland, the laws relating to ownership and transfer of property are still very similar to Roman Law.
You mean "He who drinks the blood of thine enemies rules"?

Always thought that was a primitive but effective model of property rights dispute management.
