He lives about 4km away from me, the bike isn't that heavy I just had to stop every half hour to catch a break - didn't want to create a scene by barfing all over the magnificent Copenhagen sidewalks.
I dont't know if you skipped that day in school because your definition of walking seems to differ from everyone else's. 1hr 20 minutes for 4 km. jeez son, weere you carrying a bike or a house?

I don't have roughly $500 to drop every semester on textbooks in addition to the loans I'm taking out. Maybe you do, and that's great.
don't listen to greg. schools have that shit coming to them. they run what should be an illegal business on selling/buying books.

I paid for my textbooks, and it sucked. Even if that was long ago. But you lose your bitch cred if you're looking for free handouts and not finding them.

You might as well cry me a river that the only free hookers you can find are skanks with various diseases.

It's not so much the school that I blame really, but yes it is ridiculous.

That's great, and I have as well since I started college in 2009. Now in this one case, for this one class, I would like to try and save myself around $80-110 on something I will use for maybe 4 days, forgetting everything I read afterwards.

And as I said before, I can go to my school's library tomorrow and use the copy that is held on reserve. So I can either use it now for free, or tomorrow for free. Either way I'm paying nothing, but this is more convenient. Or does this still count as a handout?

The bolded makes no sense.

Sounds like a wise strategy. I've borrowed books, found used, etc., wherever possible.

But the point is that you were complaining that you couldn't successfully accomplish what is legally defined as criminal behavior -- whether you agree with the copyright laws or not. If I ever try to purse-snatch off an old lady and she thwarts me and I bitch about that here on the Tuz, you're more than welcome to call me out for it. :D

Looking for free handouts

Don't look at the mechanisms of an unfair system, but please further explore how these guys are trying to get through them.

And it's the 4th time I've said it this month :D
That's a higher average than I have. Though I did just say it twice in one weekend. :sergio:

I'm hoping the girl I made out with doesn't upload to facebook the pics her friend took while we were kissing. I was just too drunk and let it happen.

Someone tored off the tyre on one part of the wheel, so it can't turn and probably needs to be replaced - pretty cheap repair.
I don't even know how that's possible if I'm imagining it correctly, but at least it isn't worse. I use my bike to get to and from school and work, so I know how it feels to be without it :D.

No no, you have me wrong. I was not complaining at all, just asking if anyone knew how to get around making my computer die. If I can't get it, then whatever, I'll just study tomorrow and the next day. It's not like it's McGraw Hill that's stopping me though, it's the website looking for some more ad revenue. So it would be more like you being thwarted by another thief as opposed to the old lady :D.
