I'd hate to leave country. Many people are looking to escape as soon as possible as things here are only getting worse and worse.

But man I'd hate to leave. Seriously. Despite of this shit, I don't think I could do it.
Ah vintage Serb nationalism :p

I know how you fell in a way, but sometimes you have to go to be able to come back :p

I'll probably have done 1 year of foreign internship before I can land a 'decent' job here, if I want to stay (I don't).

Where would you like to go?
Ideally? Somewhere like Vancouver, Warsaw, Dubrovnik :p, Brussels. A modern, generally safe, larger city, bonus points for being near the sea.

None of that is happening. Dublin trumps every UK city IMO so I'll stay here given a choice.

Most likely, I'll go to Brussels for an internship giving me 1 year experience and an MSc and probabl end up in a video game store :D

The dream would be Vancouver or Calgary.

Including Warsaw, but not Sidney or Melbourne? :chan:

You been there? How was it?
Very nice, but it was stampede. I have it pegged as a 'white person' culture, which evidently I'd have no problems in, probably a bit protestant though. The City itself has probably deteriorated greatly since I was there in terms of social provision and infrastructure due to the oil boom.

Too many Irish, and far too strong a current of anti-Irish racism from family and friend reports.

Warsaw gets excellent marks because of low cost of living and beautiful old style buildings mixed with stalinist blocs :p

Sydney and Melbourne are full of Irish anyway, whereas most towns/cities in Ireland are basically full of Polish now.

Canada is the way to go IZ

Agreed 100%

there's a Polish girl working in the shop across the street from me, I've been trying to work up the courage to go and talk to her properly but she's pretty intimidating. Not in the ''she's built like a brick shithouse'' kind of intimidating rather she's just ridiculously attractive.

Also she has large chebs :D
Maybe I could compliment her on the fact :boh:

How there isn't any system in place to make the long term unemployed contribute to society in some way in return for their dole payments is beyond me?

Makes all the funnier when local chavs complain about having no jobs but would never do that work, especially not for minimum wage.
UK Minimum wage is a disgrace. I mean it's essentially designed to only work for people sharing a house of 6 or people still living at home.

Bring down rents, then you can make a case. It's not enough to live, so it's not enough.

Drop some Polish every now and again, they are very conservative and respond well to politeness in my experience.

dziekuje bardzo - djen koi yeh , barr tso Means thanks very much :D

Say it next time she gives you change and smile at her, she'll probably get offended that you think her English is terrible OR she could have a positive opinion of you for making the effort.

Wearing a crucifx wouldn't hurt.
