Just looked it up. It's actually 26 mins in S-Tog, so you win. I always take the Intercity, and it's around 15-20 min in that.

Because of the thousand stops S-Tog does? I'd rather take the fastest way possible, might even rent a car.

There are also trains only making one stop before Høje Taastrup. They are only leaving a couple of times each hour though, but if you wanna save like 5-10 minutes then that's a way to go. S-Tog leaves more often.

At least on the way back from Taastrup it's worth it, every minute in Copenhagen will be worth gold.
