Whoever you voted for will directly or indirectly count for one of those two right?

Yeah fuck it anyways :D
No, my state's pretty heavily red in the presidential race. Which means that our 5 electoral votes will go to Mittens. So a vote for Bronco wouldn't matter.

The vote for the third party is more important because if either the Libertarian or the Green party get 2% of the popular (nationwide) vote in this election, then they can get on the national ballot in the next presidential election without having to apply on a state by state basis. With 5% they get federal funding. Which is huge if we're ever going to break out of the two-party system.

Green Party for President, though I'm thinking the Libs have a better shot of getting 2%. Mostly Dems and Mounties for Senate, Congress, Governor. Then pretty much split the ticket for local seats like State Supreme Court, County Council, Sec of State, Magistrate, Circuit Court, Sherif, Ag Commissioner, etc.
Ironically, the presidential election matters less to me than the local and state ballot initiatives. As usual, I voted "no" to 95% of the state propositions -- because most are written as slapped-on budget band-aids that get thought about piecemeal each and every year without a comprehensive strategy of what tradeoffs are needed to pay for any of it. :(

It's the same for me. Though our only proposition is limiting the sheriff's term of office from life to 2 terms. I voted yes to that because getting arrested by the Burger King mascot is just embarrassing.

It's a lose-lose because your either going to re-elect the anti christ or your going to bring in a mormon

Though having a sheriff serving 8 years-to-life seems about right.

The dude's name is Mitt. MITT. Who the fuck is named "Mitt"? I don't even know a single baseball player with just the nickname of "Mitt". What the hell is up with that?

Just when you think you saw it all with President Barack, in comes Mitt...

Is that some kinda wigga wannabe thing? Or just the smell of money in a first name?
