One of the greatest sentences of all time: "HMRC has taken the view that the public interest will be best served with the liquidation of The Rangers Football Club".

Nice! I am sitting here contemplating what songs I would sing if I were making an album of covers. And being bored.

Landslide. With just a piano

Alice Cooper is/was a DJ on a classic rock station here. Though I'm pretty sure they would just get the broadcast from some US station.
I wish I could find the audio clips, but Eddie Money does an early morning gig that is syndicated.

A radio station in Boston played some of the clips, and it was so pathetic it was hilarious. The DJ in boston was mocking him perfectly. I'll see if I can find it.

Not entirely clear as yet.

I imagine all the players with any value will be sold by the liquidators to raise funds to pay back some of the creditors and the other players will be free to leave for nothing.
Cool. Hopefully they don't get held hostage by the bank.

Sergio, thank you for sharing this. Completely made my day!
I'll see if I can find some more stuff from these guys.

They are on 98.5 The Sports Hub

They are hilarious, and for two white dudes, they know more about hip hop than most people.

It's not the bank that Rangers owe cash to.

Main creditors are the Taxman and Ticketus (a company that Rangers sold several years of potential season ticket income to finance the most recent takeover of the club).

So Rangers will cease to exist?
Yup.

Something like Naples Soccer will probably happen, but the way things are here means that I very much doubt New Rangers would be allowed to claim the history of Old Rangers.
