There was news floating around that Volvo was shutting shop in Bangalore (I think the heavy vehicles division)... Don't know how far its true... I wasn't aware that they had their electronics division in Bangalore...

What do you do exactly?

Not all the electronics is in Bangalore, 3P is the Volvo company that develops electrics for Volvo and they have branches in Brasil, Lyon and Bangalore. The GSECU (gear shifter electronic control unit), the IC (instrument cluster) and a couple of others are there.

Volvo is shutting down in lots of places not only in India, it's due to the international crisis.

I work in the aftermarket as a software coordinator, I make sure that right software goes in the right vehicle, I create commercial software kits and I make sure that the latest software works on older vehicles. It is some sort of back office because we're in the development projects from A to Z.

Strange thing,no one notices crisis. Salaries are small as always and prices are pretty high...but nothing new.

Back in B, when we had perhaps Juve's most badass kits ever, I tried to get one from the Juvestore that had Marchisio on the back. %#$ers didn't ever release an official one, and I didn't want to go all custom (figuring some ape in Milan would give me a jersey with "Malqueso" -- or "bad cheese" in Spanish -- on the back).
