It was the opposite for me. This was the new years eve that I spent the most money and had the least fun. We have a holiday here tomorrow, so we lucked out. Take the day off I say.

How did you spent it then? We stayed in a 5 star hotel room with a couple of good friends while having lots and lots of booze. I was literally wearing only a bath robe and my long johns during the whole night.

I don't really like the idea of starting my working year on sick leave.

Stayed at the Hilton here and should have gone to the party at the Hilton but the girls insisted on some other lame party that really sucked. The only redeeming quality of the party was that I was with my friends but then they had some drama as well. The before and the after weren't too bad though. We were having fun having wine in our room and whatnot and then I got dragged off to the Hyatt to meet some another friend who was staying there. We had some good laughs come to think of it...And what I wouldn't have given to spend the night in long johns and a robe drinking in my room too last night. I should have.
