I have read a couple of essays that attribute the growing anglophobia in scotland to that film. If I start on that film I wont stop, I despise historical innacuracy and Mel Gibson has it in the for the English - as he does for gays, jews and non-whites, if you've seen the patriot you'll know how much he hates us.

I wouldn't be suprised if some people (anyone, not specifically scots) base there understanding of what went on in that film and not realise that the scots and the english were commiting attrocities to eachother, taking land from eachother etc. for centuries and the union process took centuries and was peaceful and fair and came about because of a scottish king. (all on wiki, all of the article is cited).
Braveheart is a completely historically inaccurate movie indeed and is a piece of shit of a movie overall.

Made out with my male friend yesterday...now that's gay. :D
you are the best :p

Guys, I got a question. Why can't I be motherfucking cold like you? I fall in love so easily and I get heart broken.
I wish i could help.
I'm the opposite
It takes a lot for me to fall in love...... but when i do.. it's legit
been incredibly hurt, and its made me even colder
I end up feeling bad, because i'm not able to feel for others what they feel for me.
