First off I have watched it and al jazerra here has a totally different slant as the one over seas. So if you mean the US one they are pretty good the overseas one def not

I don't get the full channel, just the occasional news broadcast. I think it's primarily out of the UK bureau but could be UAE. (It's the one that also shows a lot of the EPL and Champions League matches.)

Cable companies can tell what their subscribers are watching at any time and I suppose they gather the stats from them.
