Wierd story, but extremely petty, because this was how petty my friends and I were during our late teens-early 20's.
Most of my friends are portugese, so there would always be the "who is better at doing stuff", and the conversation would eventually get around to who had better musicians/singers. Naturally, the first person that I would say was Frank Sinatra, and they would say, "yeah, So?", and then I would say Madonna., and then they would turn around and mention a group such as Extreme, or some nonsense like that.
Then I would hit them with the bombshell.
Bruce Springsteen.
they would start getting all up in arms, saying, "No he's not!!", No he's not!!
Then I would have to educate them that he is part Dutch, part Irish, and HALF Italian.That would shut them right the fuck up.
