It's your own fault, after all, dammit.
I do work in an office with ladies who have young children. After about the third cough, they were like "answer your emails and then go see the doctor".

Navigating the health care system without insurance is pretty interesting. It seems things would be easier without having to bill some outside entity, but no it drives the providers nuts. I even got crap from the pharmacy lady because she automatically assumed that not having insurance meant I wasn't planning on paying.

You bundled didn't you.
Even outside of a bundle it is still very expensive, and there are only two companies who provide it. We are thinking of getting rid of everything and just getting internet from a smaller company and using a mobile phone instead of a landline. But it would mean having to stream football matches, and that's a bit of a downer.

that is sad man your mom must be a very strong and good woman . were you from how is here paycheaqe so low? my mom was also like that working day and night 4 almost nothing just to give food 4her children
Well bills here are much lower, and those wages are what most of the people get here in Serbia. But yeah, she's pretty strong... many times it happened that she worked for like 14 hours, came home to sleep just so she could go back to work in the morning. It's just that she works for a pretty big company and they have many employees but they won't hire any more of accountants to help them, so they are very limited. And they don't get paid for the extra time they stay of course... pretty retarded really. Rent is 150-200 euros but luckily I don't pay for it. Other bills hit 150 euros too, I mean... it's not high but considering our wages it's a real kick.

Just learned that Brazil is the only country with the latent economic and political resources to follow an 'American Path' towards global power.

Forza Brazil :)
And unlike China, they're super-young and have a long way to go before worrying about going broke paying for all the old people.

I can totally imagine that. I even have that experience with dentists, as I dropped dental coverage between jobs now. It's like they're not even sure how much to charge because what they charge is so tied to what insurance companies are willing to pay them (yet another reason why our current health care system is f*ed and devoid of any supply & demand economics).

That said, my joke there is also about the refutation of some baseline level of universal health care. You get sick, and it's your fault! ;)

It's only that cheap for six months, then it goes up. I am sure it's cheaper in other provinces.
After all, where Kate lives, she watches Juve matches by VHS tapes air-dropped from the sky. Right now half of Halifax still believes Fabio Capello is still the Juve coach.

Still living with my mom and dad, so it's like one salary available to spend (70% goes on food, which is fucking retarded too). Sadly no, I'm not in a position to help at the moment. I'm studying and I'm just another expense for them :p Anyway, it's too hard to find a job here. Unemployment rate for youth is over 40%
