I miss music that skewered the media current culture.

Decades ago television being the idiot box got so much crap, deservedly.

I mean, "TV Party" by Black Flag...

Or TV Set by The Cramps...

Or the Misfits with TV Casualty...

Or even my beloved Mats mocking the whole enterprise of music television...

Seen your video ... The phony Rock 'n' Roll ... We don't want to know ... Seen your video

(So much so, when their record contract for their next album required them to produce a music video for self-promotion, they gave everybody the middle finger with this.)

So why aren't there songs that totally mock and insult streamer and podcast and YouTube culture?

You missed this one, champ

You could replace "channels" with IG Reels, TikTok, YouTube or in general any sort of Internet addiction and it would be more accurate than ever.

But you asked for something modern, so here you go:

Reminds me a little of my longtime porkchop homeboy in Porto, Alex FX. Saw him do an amazing A/V set a few years back at Sónar Lisboa that included clips like this:

He created a performance like this oddly as a response to his experience with how Covid went down.

Note: You gotta full-screen dis beeyotch

Let me throw this unusual Ozzy tribute here...

Charles Bradley passed away in 2017, well before Ozzy. He made one of the most kick*ss covers of Sabbath I've heard. Even Ozzy said he did it better. :shocked2:
